Man Buys Out Kmart And Donates It To Charity

“In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, β€˜It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” – Acts 20:35

Rankin Paynter was visiting a Kmart to purchase some items for his business when he saw that the store would be closing it’s doors in 2 days. When he realized it had to be bought up by someone, he decided to be the buyer himself. He bought out the entire store for $200,000 which took 4 cashiers 6 hours to process! Not only did he donate it all to Clark County Community Services, he rented a building to keep it in until they needed it! What an act of Christlike generosity and we can thank God that there are people who have the means and the will to take on something like that.
